Shanghai Shenhua offer £12M-a-year NET to Chelsea captain Terry

Shanghai Shenhua have made a massive contract offer to Chelsea captain John Terry.

The Sun says Blues bosses would waive any transfer fee for their long-serving defender and the whopping £11.9m he is being offered to move to China would be AFTER tax.

To make the move even more attractive, Terry would be teaming up with his old Chelsea mate Gus Poyet, who became boss at mega-rich Shanghai Shenhua two weeks ago.

The former England skipper, 36, has just six months of his contract at Stamford Bridge left.

And Chelsea chiefs have made it clear that he is unlikely to be offered another deal.
