Shandong Luneng get the points in lively encounter with FC Seoul

Chinese champions Shandong Luneng took one step closer to qualifying for the round of 16 with a 2-0 victory over FC Seoul in the Asian Champions League.

The match was even for much of the game, especially in the first half with both sides creating scoring opportunities but not capitalising.

It wasn't until the 54th minute when Shandong's Lu Zheng got on the end of a Cui Peng cross and knocked it home to give the home side the advantage.

The Korean club was still in the game despite being a goal down but could not muster an equaliser.

Shandong kept attacking on the counter and it finally paid off when Lu hit a shot at Seoul keeper Park Dong-suk and Han Peng was on hand to blast home the rebound.
