Shamrock Rovers fullback Enda Stevens is excited about his move to Aston Villa.
The Irish defender put pen to paper on a pre-contract agreement in August which sees him fly to Villa on Monday on a three-and-a-half-year deal.
"It will be hard to get into the team but I am to hit the ground running and see if I can break in. It's a massive club but hopefully it can happen for me," Stevens told Irish newspaper The Herald.
"There will be a different level in terms of the training and the way players are prepared. Villa are a full-time club with so much money involved. It's going to be a better set-up compared to Ireland.
"I'm not that nervous as I was over there for a week already. I got that out of the way, and the players over there were really good to me, and Richard Dunne went out of his way to welcome me."
