Shamrock Rovers boss linked to Hibernian vacancy

Shamrock Rovers have denied that Hibernian have made a move for their manager Michael O'Neill. Former Hibs favourite O'Neill is said to be a target, and Rovers chairman Jonathan Roche is not surprised in the interest.

. Roche told the Daily Record: "We've not had any approach from Hibs.

"Michael is on a three-year contract with us, I think he is happy here and we are certainly very happy with him.

"If we do get an approach from Hibs we will deal with it but I'm not surprised there is speculation linking him with other jobs.

"We live for now, we don't worry about the future. Michael moved from Edinburgh over here and we believe he is happy to be at this club."
