Everton boss Roberto Martinez has all but confirmed his club's interest in Shakhtar Donetsk winger Bernard.

The Daily Express is reporting the Toffees have turned their attention to Bernard after they were unable to complete a deal for Dynamo Kiev's Andriy Yarmolenko.

Martinez hinted at the Merseyside club's interest in the 22-year-old Brazilian when specifically asked about the player by reporters.

"I'm sure that [Bernard] has got a few representatives in the UK. I can't go into detail," Martinez said.
