Shakhtar Donetsk rate Chelsea target Willian ahead of Lille star Eden Hazard. Shakhtar rejected an opening bid for Willian of £16.5million from Stamford Bridge but say they are still in talks over a deal that the 23-year-old is keen to complete.

Shakhtar assistant boss Alexandru Spiridon, who has been training the first team while Mircea Lucescu recovers from a near-fatal car crash, said: "As far as I know negotiations are continuing.

"The €20m offered by Chelsea, I think, does not correspond to the level of this player.

"According to information we see on the internet, for Hazard the offer is €30m to €35m.

"I don't think that Willian is weaker - in some aspects he is even stronger than Hazard."

Willian has a release clause set at £29m, but Shakhtar have indicated they will accept a bid of £25m.
