Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan is set to fly into Merseyside for talks with Liverpool.
The Mirror says Liverpool have beaten off the challenge of Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain to stand on the verge of a £23million swoop for Mkhitaryan.
Mkhitaryan is due to fly to Merseyside to undergo a medical on Tuesday, and the Anfield giants' boss Brendan Rodgers is expecting to complete the deal by the end of the week.
Rodgers has committed the bulk of his summer transfer budget to land the 24-year old Armenia international, who scored 25 goals for Shakhtar last season.
