SFA yet to make call on Levein's Scotland tenure

Scottish Football Association chiefs have yet to decide whether or not Craig Levein will remain in his role as Scotland manager.

The 48-year old has been under fire following his side's poor start to 2014 World Cup qualification which sees them sitting at the bottom of the Group A table with just two points from four outings.

With Scotland's chances of progressing to the finals in Brazil now highly unlikely, SFA hierarchy including chief executive Stewart Regan, president Campbell Ogilvie, vice-president Alan McCrae and Hibernian chairman Rod Petrie met with Levein this week to discuss his future.

However, it has been suggested that no decision has yet been made regarding Levein who will continue to prepare for Scotland's friendly with Luxembourg on November 14.
