SFA to undertake fans survey

The Scottish Football Association (SFA) has hired the Repucom agency to conduct the country's first national soccer survey, reports SportsPro. The online survey, which will run until 21st December, is a joint effort by the Scottish FA, Scottish Premier League, Scottish Football League and Supporters Direct to engage fans.

Charlie Dundas, executive vice president for UK and Ireland at Repucom, said: "We are proud to be working with Scottish football's leading authorities in this groundbreaking study.

"At Repucom, we pride ourselves on our understanding of sports fans and, as the Scottish FA and their partners in their commitment to this project have underlined, no-one in the game is more important than the supporters."

Darryl Broadfoot, head of communications at the Scottish FA, added: "An intense debate is taking place within Scottish football at present and, together with our partners, we deemed it essential that the fans have their say in this process."
