Scottish Football Association chief executive Stewart Regan has vowed to reveal the truth regarding the financial situation of Rangers Football Club.
The reigning Scottish champions last week entered administration and there is plenty of talk circulating as to what exactly has been going on under the Craig Whyte regime.
Last night, Regan promised that the SFA would do everything in their power to uncover exactly what is going on at Ibrox with the club experiencing extreme financial difficulties.
"We decided it now has to be escalated and we have asked an independent inquiry with three, strong, high-profile individuals from the legal, financial and business communities to find out if any breaches have taken place.
"We believe the quality of these individuals will flush out the details we need to know and provide the board with whatever evidence we need to decide what happens next.""Despite our best endeavours to get information that would allow us to take a considered view we haven't had any information," Regan said.
