The Scottish Football Association has extended its sponsorship agreement with chocolate bar brand Mars for a further four years, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/. Mars will continue as an official partner of the association and the Scottish national football team until July 2018, having held the role since 2011.
As part of the deal the brand will continue its Just Play initiative, which aims to encourage adult involvement in football throughout Scotland.
"Mars has a proud heritage of working within football and we are really pleased to extend our partnership with the Scottish FA," said Fiona Dawson, the president of Mars Chocolate UK & Global Retail.
"We've already made a great impact together, getting fans back on the pitch and reminding them what they love about playing the beautiful game. We're really looking forward to building on that success."
