The Scottish Football Association are expected to hit Celtic defender Kelvin Wilson with a violent conduct charge.
The Hoops centre-half elbowed Dundee forward John Baird in an off-the-ball incident during Wednesday's clash at Dens Park and is now facing a two-match ban.
SunSport suggests SFA's compliance officer Vincent Lunny will view the video footage before making a decision whether or not serve a notice of complaint.
Baird came out and urged the SFA not to take action against Wilson as he had admitted he was at fault for the incident but it will still be reviewed by the Scottish Premier League's hierarchy.
