Spanish club Seville have confirmed they are interested in Tottenham's Giovani dos Santos.
The 22-year old forward is currently on international duty with Mexico at the CONCACAF Gold Cup in the USA but is creating some curiosity within the Seville camp.
Seville president Jose Maria del Nido says that the former Barcelona man is certainly a target but the club has to wait and see what happens with current striker Frederic Kanoute.
"Giovani dos Santos is one of the players we have spoken about but he is not the only option," he said.
"But we are not going to spend seven or eight million euros on anyone, because we don't have it.
"And we will not make that investment without knowing what will happen with Kanoute."
