Sevilla midfielder Enzo Maresca has dismissed complaints from club coaches over the workload international football places on their players.
"I've heard a lot about this and I see it as something absurd, because internationals have always existed and a player can be injured for a thousand reasons," said the Italian.
"We have had the misfortune of several of our players being injured together, but we have to forget about that. I see this debate as absurd."
