Sevilla's Chevanton: I wanted Benfica move

Javier Chevanton insists he wants to stay with Sevilla.

"I do not want to leave, but there were possibilities," said the striker. "I am not interested in going to Galatasaray. Frankly, the only one that interested me was Benfica. They had two players from Uruguay and (Jose Antonio) Camacho was interested in me.

"So I thought I would play with Benfica, at least for a year, but in the end it did not materialise."
