Sevilla's Chevanton fires quit warning

Sevilla striker Javier Chevanton has warned he's ready to quit the club during the winter market.

Sevilla sports chief Monchi insists Chevanton is a required player with Fredi Kanoute and Arouna Kone set to play in the African Nations Cup in January. However, the Uruguayan isn't interested in being a stop-gap for a month and is demanding first team guarantees.

"I've said I never want to leave Sevilla, but by December many things could change," said Chevanton. "I need to play."
