Sevilla winger Jesus Navas: I enjoyed my time with Man City

Sevilla winger Jesus Navas is proud of his time with Manchester City.

Navas says he has no regrets looking back on his spell at City, which came to an end after it was clear he was not part of Guardiola's long-term plans.

“In my first year I won the Premier League, and two cups after that, so I learned a lot from my experience in England and I think it was all positive," said Navas to the Mirror.

“I won titles nearly every year I was there and I played almost ever year, apart from my final season when I didn't play as much.

“It was incredible to play in the Premier League, somewhere I always wanted to go because of the speed and the pace of the game.

“But I'm back home with Sevilla now, we're in the final of the Copa Del Rey, the last 16 of the Champions League and going well in La Liga, so I feel like I'm in a good place.

“I still speak with David Silva. We have a personal relationship and we talk about personal things, but we've not got into football that much.

“But City are playing some lovely football now. They always have possession of the ball, which is what Guardiola likes his teams to do, and they're really enjoyable to watch.

“I always felt welcomed and received well at City while I was there."
