Sevilla are chasing Southampton midfielder Gaston Ramirez.

The Daily Mail says the Spanish side have sent scouts to check on the Uruguay international while he is on loan at Middlesbrough.

Ramirez is out of contract in the summer and has offers to return to South America. However, Sevilla are weighing up a contract offer for the 25-year-old who has scored three goals in eight games for Boro since joining in January.
