Sevilla are keen on Wigan Athletic midfielder Mohamed Diame.
The newly-capped Senegal international has found himself on the bench in recent weeks and is being linked with a return to Spain in the summer.
Sevilla sports chief Monchi is exploring the prospect of signing Diame when the transfer market reopens.
Diame, 23, moved to Wigan two years ago from Segunda Liga Rayo Vallecano.
