Sevilla have rejected a bid from Southampton for Grzegorz Krychowiak.

Reports suggest that the Spanish side have turned down a £12million offer from the Saints for the Polish defensive midfielder.

Seville publication ABC believe that Los Rojiblancos are holding out for closer to £22m which is the release clause inserted in Krychowiak's contract.

Krychowiak, 25, joined Sevilla from French club Reims last summer and made 48 appearances in all competitions for the Europa League winners.
