Sevilla swoop for Barcelona defender Valiente

Sevilla have snapped up Barcelona defender Marc Valiente.

The 21 year-old joins Sevilla on a free transfer after agreeing terms with their sports director Monchi over the weekend.

Valiente was still contracted to Barca, but a clause allowed him to leave for nothing after he wasn't promoted from the B team last season.

The defender was with Barca for over ten years.
