Sevilla starlet Diego Capel has welcomed Arsenal's interest.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is prepared to meet Capel's £8 million buyout clause to bring the 19 year-old to Emirates stadium, says the Mirror.

Wenger has Spanish midfielder Capel, 19, on his radar after having him watched during the Under-20s World Cup in Canada and last year's under-18s tournament.

Capel said: "It's great praise to have big clubs in Europe interested in me."
