Sevilla have snapped up Reading defender Daniel Carrico.

Reading have confirmed that Carrico has joined La Liga side Sevilla on loan for the 2013-14 season.

Carrico, 25 next month, left Reading's training camp in Portugal on Monday afternoon and by Tuesday evening he was making his debut for Sevilla in a friendly against San Fernando.
