Sevilla have shocked Real Madrid 1-0.

Real suffered their second straight defeat to fall eight points behind Barcelona at the top of La Liga as a stunning early goal from Sevilla gave them a shock 1-0 victory on Saturday night.

Piotr Trochowski lashed home after 69 seconds and Madrid could not find a response, instead counting themselves lucky that not one but two of their players avoided red cards that could easily have been shown.

Real coach Jose Mourinho was asked about the eight point difference in the league table after having played the first four matches: "I worry about my team and that since the start of the official season we have only played well in the Super Cup, a little bit against Valencia and a little bit against Granada.

"That is my concern rather than points. At this moment I have no team."
