Sevilla have sold defender Marc Valiente to Real Valladolid.

Valladolid beat several Primera Liga clubs to land Valiente, a former Barcelona junior.

Valladolid sports chief Jose Antonio Garcia Calvo declared: "He is a player of great qualities and a big future ahead of him.

"He has important versatility which will allow him to play in midfield and defence."
