Sevilla are expected to announce the signing of Juventus striker Fernando Llorente.
Cadena Ser says agreement between the player and the club was reached a month ago but needs to be ratified by Juventus, who were originally holding out for a cash transfer but are now willing to listen to loan suggestions.
Although Sevilla have been looking at other possibilities, such as West Ham's Andy Carroll, manager Unai Emery has asked the club to keep trying for Llorente.
It appears that the club's efforts are about to bear fruit.
