Sevilla president Jose Maria del Nido has warned Tottenham boss Juande Ramos that he could still take legal action over the manner of his departure last week.

Ramos signed a four-year deal with Tottenham on October 27 after resigning as Sevilla coach.

The 53-year-old was under contract with the Andalusian club until next summer.

"Juande is already a part of the past of Sevilla," said Del Nido.

"But the fact that Juande is part of the past doesn't mean that Sevilla will not exercise action in the relevant courts to defend its interests, with all the necessary strength that the club has.

"We will not renounce anything but that doesn't mean that we will publish what we will do."
