Sevilla president Jose Maria del Nido has held crisis talks with record signing Arouna Kone.

Del Nido, accompanied by a translator, met with Kone yesterday to discuss his struggles in Spain since his arrival from PSV Eindhoven last summer.

Kone has failed to live up to expectations and received a pep talk from Del Nido, who is desperate to see the attacker justify his record fee.
