Sevilla president Jose Maria del Nido has revealed they made an approach for former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho when Juande Ramos quit for Tottenham earlier this season.
"We asked for him through an intermediary," confirmed Del Nido. "But the asking price was too rich."
