Sevilla president Jose Maria del Nido admits Javier Chevanton's situation remains deadlocked.

The Uruguayan wasn't registered this season by Sevilla and Del Nido explained: "Chevanton still hasn't met the expectations we have for him.

"He still has several years on his contract and we hope he can either prove himself with us or get a move elsewhere."
