Sevilla are planning a January bid for Everton midfielder Steven Pienaar.

The South Africa international is off contract in June and Sevilla hope to beat rivals like Inter Milan and Juventus by bidding for his services in January.

Radio Cote says Sevilla technical chief Victor Orta is planning an approach to Everton in order to open negotiations over a fee for Pienaar.
