Sevilla midfielder Wissem Ben Yedder is full of pride over his first call-up by France.

Ben Yedder was rewarded after his two-goal performance in Sevilla's Champions League victory at Manchester United last week.

After defeat to Leganes, he stated: "I will try to give the maximum and I will try to savour the selection.

"I've worked a lot in the shadows and I always wanted to give the maximum. In the end I was rewarded. I have to continue to work, to progress, and that's what I try to do on a daily basis.

"I am very proud ... because it's a real pride, that's it."
