Sevilla midfielder Pablo Sarabia has jumped to the defence of Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea.
De Gea has been hammered by the local Spanish media after a disappointing World Cup.
Sarabia told Marca: "He has taken a lot of grief because he is a great goalkeeper, nobody has to doubt that, he is very committed to the National Team and everything that has been said is unfair.
"We have to respect the opinions because he has not been at a good level and he knows.
"But you do not have to be too hard either because we all know that he is the starting goalkeeper and he's going to stay there for many years with the National Team."
