Sevilla have decided to pass on a permanent deal for Sandro Ramirez.

The Everton striker signed on-loan for Sevilla in January, though with no obligation to make the deal permanent.

Estadio Deportivo says Sevilla sports chief Joaquin Caparros has decided against keeping hold of Sandro.

In consultation with new coach Pablo Machin, Caparros agreed they needed a 'different type of No9' and have chosen to send the former Barcelona forward back to England.

Sandro struggled to make an impact at the Sánchez Pizjuán, where he failed to repeat his form of a year ago with Malaga.
