Sevilla goalkeeper Javi Varas has penned a new two-year deal.
The 29-year-old is now tied to the Andalusian club until June 2015 and his new deal has a buy-out clause of 20million euros (£17.5million).
Varas said on his club's website: "It's an important day for me and my family. What has led to this situation is my work and my professionalism and I thank the club for rewarding me for the job I've done and for keeping confidence in me."
