Former AC Milan coach Vincenzo Montella is in talks with Sevilla.

Sevilla are seeking a new coach after the shock dismissal of Eduardo Berizzo days before Christmas.

Sky Italia says Sevilla is confident Montella has been chosen as the new Sevilla tactician.

The two clubs are now in negotiations to terminate the contract, as Milan fired Montella last month to promote Gennaro Gattuso from the Primavera youth team.

Montella is currently on gardening leave.
