Arsenal will have to pay a sizeable amount if they want to sign Steven N'Zonzi from Sevilla this summer.
The Gunners are in the market for a defensive midfielder, as the position is very important to new manager Unai Emery's plans.
N'zoni does have a £35 million release clause. It is this clause that Arsenal will have to trigger if they want the player.
The amount is not a huge issue, but a release clause means having to pay the entire fee in one go. That could cause an issue given Arsenal's limited budget for summer transfers.
They are still hoping to find an agreement with Sevilla. But Goal.com reports that triggering the clause is their best hope of signing the French international.
