Sevilla coach Jimenez: Copa result has no bearing on Barcelona clash
Sevilla coach Manolo Jimenez believes their Copa del Rey success against Barcelona will have no bearing on their Liga clash.
Knocking Barcelona out of the Copa del Rey was a big boost for the Andalusians, but Jimenez knows tomorrow's game will be extremely difficult.
"Barcelona are the best team in the world," he said.
"It is never easy to play against them, but we have high hopes and, despite the effort we made (in the two recent cup games), we want to achieve a good result for the third time," he added.
And the Sevilla coach believes his team can produce a repeat of their recent victory at the Nou Camp.
"If we were capable of knocking them out, we can repeat it, but we know they are a very good team - we have shown that we are capable of beating anyone, but also of losing against anyone," he said.
