Sevilla youth chief Pablo Blanco admits they cannot compete with Premiership clubs when trying to hang onto their best young players.
Blanco said: "It is difficult because we cannot reach the financial levels that English clubs boast. Antonio Barragan and Daniel Sanchez Ayala left us for Liverpool. They offered a package to them of school scholarships and around £2,000 a month. We cannot put on contract the 400 youngsters we have in our system."
