Sevilla sports chief Monchi insists coach Manolo Jimenez has the board's full support.

Champions League elimination last week came after a run of disappointing Liga results for Jimenez, but Monchi insists: "The debate on trainers and players exists in every team in the world. Decisions are taken based on the technical information, I do not believe that we must consider such decisions.

"Right now the confidence in Manolo Jimenez is today greater than yesterday."
