Sevilla sports chief Monchi is tracking San Jose Earthquakes defender Victor Bernardez.
The 30 year-old Honduras international is a January target for Monchi, who is convinced he can snap up Bernardez for a knockdown fee.
Bernardez has past experience in Europe with Anderlecht and Lierse.
