Sevilla chief Monchi has cooled talk of selling winger Jesus Navas to Real Madrid.
Monchi is aware speculation is intensifying over their star winger's next move.
"This story has a birth, a development and a later stage. Let's see how it goes after Saturday's game. If it continues, we will give it more substance but interest in the player comes, ironically, as he faces Madrid soon," Monchi told AS.
"You have to see if this story runs, because in the first half of the season Madrid wanted [Diego] Perotti, with Athletic [Bilbao] it's Javi Martinez, with Racing [Santander] it's [Sergio] Canales, with Barcelona, the clauses of [Lionel] Messi and [Andres] Iniesta are not affordable.
"We will not discover anything new, this has always happened because the machinery that runs Madrid is very big and can do this."
