Sevilla chief Monchi has revealed talks with Liverpool over the sale of Alberto Moreno have collapsed.
It was understood Liverpool had met Sevilla's asking price for the fullback a fortnight ago, but terms over the method of payment could not be settled.
This morning Monchi, who is now living in London, revealed: "We couldn't reach an agreement and I don't think it can be revived.
"It was a great offer but the player is only 21 years old and it's possible that being with the national team had a positive effect."
