Sevilla chief Monchi admits he's held talks with Manchester United goalkeeper Victor Valdes.

But he insists Sevilla will not be making an offer to the former Barcelona No1.

Valdes has been told to find a new club by United after falling out with manager Louis van Gaal.

"I have not talked to him (about an offer)," said Monchi.

"Yes, I have ever spoken to him in passing, but we certainly have not seriously talked about a partnership."
