Sevilla chief Oscar Arias is disappointed coach Vincenzo Montella is ignoring his January signings.
With winter arrivals such as Sandro and Roque Mesa failing to make match day squads in spite of the club still fighting on three fronts, Arias believes more players must be utilised.
"We give the tools to the coach and it is up to him to manage them, but we arrange things based on what we consider," he said.
"The player's ability isn't discussed. It is as if we signed [Lionel] Messi but the coach doesn't put him on the field.
"If he doesn't do that, it is up to him. He has to manage them based on the resources to have a competitive starting 11."
