Jorge Sampaoli says Sevilla will playing for their lives against Leicester City this week.

The Spanish side host Claudio Ranieri's struggling Foxes in the Champions League Round of 16 first leg at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan on Wednesday night.

Sampaoli is aware of the current plight reigning English champions Leicester have in front of them but he hopes that he can lead his club to history by producing a favourable first leg result before the return bout in the East Midlands.

"We'll play for our lives on Wednesday, for the club," said the Argentine

"It'll be a very decisive game in the club's history.

"We must only think about this, playing an extremely demanding game and going to England with the advantage."
