Olympique Lyon winger Sidney Govou courted interest from Spanish Liga clubs this week.

Govou was in Spain on Tuesday night to take part in a charity match organised by Frederic Kanoute, UNICEF and Sevilla for the benefit of disadvantaged young Malians.

The France international was accompanied by his agent, Frederic Guerra, fueling talk that discussions will have been held with the likes of Atletico Madrid and Sevilla about a move in the summer.

Govou said: "There is the league and Cup to focus on. It can be a historic season for Lyon, which is why I don't want to think about my future at the moment. There are still some important things to do."
