Sevilla winger Diego Perotti clashed with a fan after their draw with Espanyol.

AS says Perotti came to blows with the Sevilla supporter at the team's hotel after they had arranged to meet via the internet.

Police, Sevilla players and team manager Juan Martagón all became involved to separate the pair.

Perotti later confirmed the incident on Facebook: "I want to thank everyone who gave me their support and wrote on my wall and the private messages received. I know well what the fans of Sevilla are about and I know that this incident did not involve them."
