Sevilla do not expect Marko Marin to return from Chelsea next season.
Estadio Deportivo says Sevilla chief Monchi has learned of Chelsea's decision after talks this week.
Marin will now start preseason with Chelsea before Blues boss Jose Mourinho makes a decision on whether to include the midfielder in his Premier League squad.
A return to the Bundesliga has been mooted for Marin next term.
