Dundee United have swooped for former Aberdeen skipper Scott Severin on a two-year contract. Severin failed to settle at Watford after moving last summer and spent the last three months of the season on loan at Kilmarnock.
The 31-year-old, who can play in midfield or central defence, made just 11 appearances for the Hornets and leaves Vicarage Road on a free transfer, subject to international clearance.
